Portal 5.0: Patch Release 18
AEC Cloud is pleased to announce our latest Patch for the popular Portal application.
With this release we have added a powerful new feature for administrators, called ‘Application Groups,’ which allows administrators the ability to assign multiple applications to multiple users.
Bug fixes include:
- RDP Application Launch Fails when user’s password includes a double quote (“).
- Restore Contact fails to place the user in the current company OU.
Developed with a cloud mindset, the AEC Cloud Portal is purpose built for companies seeking a unified end user and application administrator experience. Serving more than 20,000 users, it just works.
Major Functionality includes a central company/contact repository; secure launching, provisioning and single sign on for various applications; and a activity based billing module. Based on the latest .NET technologies, portal is integrated with Active Directory and has a web services layer that can be used to leverage certain features for other integrations.
