“Since we started working with AEC Cloud, we’ve become much less dependent on paper files,” Dews said. “Previously, we had thousands of paper files for each project—which made it difficult to manage and hand off projects when complete. Now we have a one-stop shop for all project-related information, and files can be accessed any time from any location.”

AEC Cloud’s ProjectXnet Cloud Hosting Services have also helped DECCO Ltd. increase efficiency in other aspects of its construction projects—including providing greater accountability and reporting capabilities, controlling project costs, tracking employees’ time spent on projects, and increasing employee productivity.

“We’re making better decisions earlier in the construction process, which translates into cost savings as projects progress,” Dews said. “We’re also more organized and efficient because we’re notified electronically as projects move forward. This helps prevent projects from becoming backlogged.”
