How to get started with Azure Cloud for your business?
Azure Cloud is modern IT providing all the essential cloud-enabled capabilities for a business to configure and run applications anywhere. If you are considering getting started with Azure, this article provides an overview of the ecosystem to prepare your cloud project.

Azure Account
Azure at a high level requires you to create an account. Once an account is set up, you automatically will see a tenant assigned tied to the active directory. This means a dedicated and trusted instance of active directory for your organization.
Subcription
The next step is to create a subscription in your Azure account. After creating a subscription, you would need a resource group to start building an environment with necessary configurations like virtual machines and more.
Subscription can also be looked at as a dedicated folder for each function or location if your business has multiple locations. Each subscription will be running a separate bill, and it will help manage costs for distinct areas or parts.
Resource Groups
Resource Groups can be visualized as containers with necessary virtual machines, storage, and more managed. You could, in theory, have one or more resource groups in a subscription.
Roles & Permissions
You could create an Azure Management Group to stay on top of all the subscriptions to manage multiple subscriptions. It allows you to create a hierarchy in the active directory that aligns with your organization's structure.
There are four levels under the management group.

Resources
Every subscription has an owner, and there are distinct roles and responsibilities for users associated with each subscription.
Owner- Will have full access to the resources and assign access to others on a use case basis.
After establishing an account, subscription, the administrator could start building virtual machines, storage, configure, network, security, and more.
Administrator, User Access – Can manage access to Azure resources.
Contributor – Can create, manage azure resources, can set up tenants but has limitations to grant access to others.
Partner of Record
The above is a top-level outline to help you get started with Azure and not a detailed guide. However, to have you running on Azure, migrate all your existing workloads and configure into your new Azure account, you need a suitable skill set. Associating with a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider partner could be helpful during cloud migration and deployment projects.
The partner of record feature allows you to collaborate with an azure partner of your choice to either manage your existing subscriptions or assist you from scratch.
